I read the negative reviews but my daughter really wanted it and I gave in when she became a big sister! She takes her swimming about 3-5 days a week for the past month and so without problems thus far. As soon she is done playing I do keep her upright to dry out but we haven’t even had to replace the batteries yet so I’m pleased.
