This koala, born January 15, 1996, will have your heart “Mel”-ting. His poem reads: How do you name a koala bear? It’s rather tough, I do declare! It confuses me, I get into a funk I’ll name him Mel, after my favorite hunk! This koala is lying down on the job. He has a white underbelly and inner ears; the rest of him is light gray. He has black button eyes, a “real”-looking black koala nose, and a black thread mouth. The first koala bear that Ty Inc. produced (Eucalyptus being the second), Mel makes a perfect addition to any collection. Surface wash only. –Peggy Etra
