My daughter begged for this doll for her birthday. I was rather hesitant to buy it at first, since all it does is giggle, vibrate, burp, and sometimes gasp for air due to laughing. Well, being the pushover dad that I am, I broke down and bought the doll (though for a much, much better price than the one offered here). When my daughter opened it on her birthday, she simply loved it. To be honest, I like it a lot as well.
The package isn’t deceptive at all. The doll does nothing more than giggle, vibrate and burp. The more you “tickle” the doll (done by pressing it’s belly), the louder and more hysterical her laughs get until she begins to vibrate.
For a doll with a soft but sturdy head, the body is extremely soft. Also, the batteries are included and there is an off/on/try me switch. That’s nice to know whenever the laughter gets to be a bit too much.
Overall, this doll delivers all that it promises and is cuddly to boot. If you have a young child who is interested in Shrek, this wouldn’t be a bad purchase.
our whole family loves this little doll. it’s great for stimulating a little laughter in the room. my only problem with it is it will be hard to wash if its body gets dirty. my 9 month old daughter loves to chew on the “ears” so drool winds up on the body. it also doesn’t sit up very well, so it’s hard to put neatly onto a shelf. but, the personality certainly overrides the rest! it certainly gives elmo a run for his money!
This doll is so cute, she is much much bigger in person than she looks in the picture. I got this for my 2 yr old granddaughter and it was perfect! Very reasonable price. Would highly recommend!
