I bought this doll for my niece and she absolutely loves it. She carries Miss Dessa around everywhere and I was so happy to find a doll that has curly brown hair. Miss Dessa is super soft and just the perfect doll.

I bought this doll about 4 years ago for my oldest daughter (who is now 5) largely because it was the first doll I’ve seen that actually looked liked my daughter, who is biracial but with very light skin and super curly brown hair. Even in the 21st century, it is nearly impossible to find a doll with similar features to my children. This is why I love Dessa. My daughter, however, loves Dessa because she is soft and squishy and the perfect size for hugging and snuggling with. She carries her everywhere, sleeps with her at night, and says, “Love baby” about Dessa every day. I highly recommend this doll for a multitude of reasons.

I bought this for my 2 year old and she loves it. It is soft and she enjoys brushing her hair. Great find!
