My daughter loves this little bath baby, although we use her more out of the tub than in it. When researching bath babies, everyone of them had a few poor reviews. We loved the look of this baby because she had such a sweet face; many dolls have scary faces in my opinion.
Here’s my critique… the body dries relatively fast which is great (it’s a soft body filled with special tiny beads that don’t retain water). Problem: all of the limbs are hollow, so each one holds water when you “hang” this baby to dry. I have to make sure I hold up each arm & leg so that it drains into the body. And I usually have to do it again the following day.
Madame Alexander makes such good quality dolls. Someone should’ve realized they needed to at least “cap” the limbs (I think solid ones might be too heavy).
Anyway, she’s a sweet baby and yes, she’s only 12″ so don’t be surprised by her size when she arrives.
